Carly is passionate about quality patient care and is always coaching and teaching at the moment, maintaining a positive attitude.
The Lakeside Team would not be complete without Carly. Carly is a night shift veteran, wearing whatever 'hat' is necessary for whatever night she is working. She is a stickler for details- especially when it comes to restraints and central lines and is an invaluable resource for all of her staff. Carly is known throughout the hospital as dependable, compassionate, and an extremely hard worker. She is the first to offer to help, even if it limits or infringes on whatever sleep schedule she's on that week.
Carly works three nights as House Supervisor, makes it to staff/ department meetings, helps to teach at skills days, and still teaches undergraduate nursing students two days a week. She balances all this while obtaining her MSN and having a family. Carly is selfless in the care she provides her patients and staff always with a smile and usually a cup of coffee. Carly is passionate about quality patient care and is always coaching and teaching in the moment, maintaining a positive attitude. Her smile (even behind her mask) and humor is a bright light for the night shift. Carly has fantastic communication and has flourished as a House Supervisor, always handling difficult situations and keeping staff up to date on important information. She created a book of information for anyone (especially fill-in House Supervisors) to refer to when presented with any situation-especially during off-hours. This award is long overdue, and one page is not enough room to summarize all the gifts that Carly has, but Lakeside is beyond blessed to have her as part of the team. Carly, Thank You for who you are and all that you do.
