Today while shopping my son fell out of a shopping cart. He was inconsolable and he vomited. I took him to the E.R. where they placed him in a C-Collar, which he hated. I held my son for roughly five hours as he screamed bloody murder. He had to be sedated twice. The first time went well – the second time not so much. I was starving and my son was miserable. Night nurse Zachary came up with a game plan. Zachary held my son so I could finally eat. He played movies for him on his phone. They consciously sedated my son and carefully took him for his next CT scan. Zachary made me feel incredibly at ease. He brought me a charger for my phone and talked me through all my crazy mom emotions. I have never had better care at a hospital than I have had here. The care bleeds from these people – especially our nurse Zachary. I felt like the world’s worst mom today, but I am very glad I took my son to Riverside County Hospital. Thank you again.
