We (the parents) nominated Kaity as an extraordinary nurse. She is normally scheduled in Pediatrics, but she helped us extensively in the NICU. Kaity's conduct was consistently exceptional. The service standards we expected were exceeded every time she was on shift and caring for our son. She took proactive steps to ensure our son was progressing and that we were ok. I can't express how rare of a quality that is these days.
She is compassionate as demonstrated by being acutely aware of the stress we were under and had a certain knack for recognizing when we needed a break or had questions to answer and took the time to explain what she was doing and why.
Kaity lives the value of hospitality. We could tell she truly cared about our son, as we got to know each other, we felt comfortable leaving our son in her care when we had to leave. We cannot stress enough how effortless she made things appear. The true earmark of a professional is making something difficult seem easy. Kaity is a superstar.
