Kris made my dad's life a priority and for this, I can't express my gratitude enough.
My dad was diagnosed with COVID. He is high-risk, and my family knew the outcome might not be favorable. My family was connected with Kris at the Infusion Center. She gave my family insight into treatment options available for my dad. She was quick to inform us of a new FDA-approved treatment option, a monoclonal antibody. Kris was at home on a Saturday, but willingly assisted the physician with the order transmission and connected with the pharmacy to ensure all parties were ready to administer the new antibody. She ended up coming into the hospital that day and met my dad at the front entrance as I dropped him off. She made him feel like the most important person as she wheeled him to the infusion center. She personally administered the medication and monitored him throughout the infusion. She was dedicated to helping my dad to ensure he had the best possible chance of fighting this virus. The way she made him feel gave him so much hope and optimism as he started his journey.
Kris made my dad's life a priority and for this, I can't express my gratitude enough. I was blown away by the work she completed and the sincerity of her actions. We truly can't thank Kris and the Avera team enough for their work and dedication to patients.
