Cristina told me to stop being so hard on myself. I really needed to hear those encouraging words.
I nominated Cristina for this DAISY Award for her assiduousness and friendliness. Not everyone could have the patience she had with me. She was my night nurse and helped me out of bed patiently each time. I was in a great deal of pain, but she assured me everything will all work out. She told me to stop being so hard on myself. I really needed to hear those encouraging words. Cristina was a great listener as well. If I mentioned anything about my pain or anything else, she would listen and respond with the most knowledge she had which was a lot. Cristina is not just a nurse, she is a caregiver. She cares for her patients. Cristina also asked me if I needed any assistance when she knew I needed some help. She would jump right in and assist. She is very understanding and remains calm. You don’t see any negative facial expressions. I absolutely would want her as my nurse again. This DAISY belongs to her! Cristina is a wonderful Jefferson nurse!
