I wanted to put Vaseline on my grandmother’s dry lips. When I told Becky, she responded that she had done so with her oral care and also changed her hearing aid batteries.
Becky is an amazing soul. Her care, along with Edwin’s care, for my grandmother, was phenomenal. We as a family, are beyond grateful that my grandma was in such high-quality care. My grandmother was on her death bed here at the hospital and Becky was so attentive, professional, smart, kind, and loving. Tuesday morning, my grandmother who said, “Come in later,” got scared, changed her mind, and asked Becky to call the family to come earlier. While we were picking up the family, Becky sat by my Grandmother’s bedside and held her hand for two long hours.

Our emotions were high and every time we asked Becky for help, she was knowledgeable, professional, and helped us understand every medication that was administered. She was so polite, and we had such trust in her. The final morning, I was uncomfortable because my Grandmother was on the CPAP machine, and I wanted to put Vaseline on my grandmother’s dry lips. When I told Becky, she responded that she had done so with her oral care and also changed her hearing aid batteries.

The care she gave my grandmother was the care I would give my own Mother or child. The care she gave was Love and there are no words to describe our gratitude.
