Colleen treated me like an old friend and made my experience in the hospital a pleasant one.
I was a patient in UPMC Mercy recently and I was very fortunate to have met Colleen in the Stress Lab. Her demeanor and caring nature put me at ease at a time when I was very, very anxious and afraid. Colleen eased my fears by taking time to talk to me, explaining things that were going on in very basic terms, answered all my questions, and let me know everything was going to be okay. She spent time with me when others might have just walked away. Colleen treated me like an old friend and made my experience in the hospital a pleasant one when it could have been otherwise. Colleen may not realize this, but she made a huge difference in my hospital visit. She’s an extraordinary nurse and human being. Please let Colleen know I will never forget her kind and caring nature.
