I would like to draw special attention to Laura, the NICU Nurse for our twins, but also the Nurse who provided remarkable care to me while I was recovering. Laura is hands down the best Nurse we've come in contact with. When taking care of the twins, she provides care as if they are her own children. Laura has spent time teaching us how to care for our littlest joys and has spent many hours getting to know us as a family.

In the days after my C-section, Laura is the one responsible for the quick action in my care as well, when my blood pressure spiked and I had to spend 30 hours in SCO away from my babies. I felt so reassured that Laura would take the best care of them and kept my husband involved in the process as well. She even took the time to come and check on me after her shift had ended. She is truly a gem and I am forever grateful for all she has done for our family.

Laura was our overnight Nurse in the NICU three times and is a shining example of our Beacon Mission. After some sleepless nights, she made sure we got rest and even cleaned our breast pump parts and took care of other chores while we slept. She also proved invaluable in our breastfeeding journey, encouraging my wife and my son without adding stress to the experience. She was kind and caring and compassionate and fought hard to make sure that we had the most exceptional time in the NICU. Our son is healthy and happy at home now.
