I.  Brandi is a leader among the nursing staff, taking charge to help manage Covid 19 screenings and testing, regularly helping her colleagues with performance improvement, and helping to ensure all shifts are covered when there are holes in the nursing schedules. She is a critical thinker and helps to solve difficult logistical problems with the provider team and detention staff/administration. She is able to flex with minimal training in the adult jail and has helped me cover the 08-GYN jail service without hesitation.  She is well-respected among all nursing, medical, and detention staff.
II.  Brandi is an excellent nurse in our correctional health unit. She passed the CCHP certification and continues to provide high-quality care to our challenging and high-risk youth. She is well-respected by all the nursing staff, correctional health nursing administrators, and the juvenile staff/administration. She is excellent at dealing with logistical problems and challenging work-now issues. She goes above and beyond her role to ensure all tasks are completed. Her caring and compassionate manner has often reduced the anxiety and acting out behavior often demonstrated by our high-risk youth. Many of our youth seek her out to talk about their concerns.
She collaborates well with the juvenile staff to ensure the medical needs of the youth are met.
