Dave is a great resource for our department. He goes above and beyond for patients. Dave has an exceptional work ethic and compassion. There is no question for which Dave does not have an answer/solution. During most difficult situations, Dave always has a solution and helps everyone. Dave is a team player and involves everyone in a team towards excellent patient care.
Where do I begin? Dave Morison is so in tune with everyone around him. If he sees someone needing help with something, he’s on it! Recently, I was having back issues from standing too much at work. Dave reached out to his contacts in the labs and found a pad for me to use while standing. It has helped me so much and right now I'm pain-free! I’ve witnessed Dave helping so many people, especially reaching out to his fellow Case Managers needing help. I’m honored to nominate Dave for this DAISY Award and happy I get to work with him daily.
Dave is the best coworker and is always willing to help. Dave oftentimes knows who needs help before them even asking. Dave is a great resource person and is always willing to problem-solve. Dave has been a mentor and friend to new hires. We are lucky to have him in this department. Case Management has its own unique challenges. The Case Managers need to rely on each other and shared experiences for support.
You can always count on David when you have a question, need a resource, or an extra pair of hands. David doesn’t wait to be asked - he’s like a “Johnny on the Spot”, anticipating our needs. He has a great attitude - always upbeat and most appreciated! For the past 3 days, I have had the distinct pleasure of working with Dave on 6 Southeast. He always presents himself very professionally on the phone to his patients and their families! You get the feeling that Dave genuinely cares and is concerned about his patients.
Dave is a HUGE TEAM PLAYER. Anyone that needs help, Dave is always there to assist and make the patients feel comfortable. If you have a problem, Dave will always fix it! Dave is always willing to go above and beyond in any way he can to help anyone. He is always the first to offer to help a co-worker. If somebody needs a piece of equipment, he will find what is needed and deliver it himself. He is always working on how to improve workflow and quality for others. Dave took the time to put together a Resource Book for each Case Manager’s unit.
