She talked to us with patience, gave us confidence, and never lost her smile to the pressure.
Nomination #1: I feel honored to meet a person like Michelle. I am a physician with five years of experience and have gone through a vast number of tough situations. I am really impressed with the way she handles stress and maintaining her cool and calm nature. It helped me to feel relieved for so many situations regarding the baby's feed, blood pressure, and care. She has immense knowledge and decision-making ability which gives her an edge over others as a wonderful nurse. I wish her great success in her career and life.

Nomination #2: One night the baby's stomach was upset and puked continuously. Her blood pressure was high. Michelle was very quick and made the right decisions about spacing medicines to prevent vomit. She immediately discussed with doctors and other nurses regarding medication changes and to the feeding team about necessary changes. Although there were emergencies with other patients, she really handled the situation like an expert. She talked to us with patience, gave us confidence, and never lost her smile to the pressure. She is a real superhuman to handle situations like this.

Nomination #3: My baby had a nasogastric tube and was given formula feed and breastmilk together. I was unable to sleep and eat and was really depressed and under pressure. I was running out of breast milk. My milk supply depleted. I was sitting in the corner. Michelle came in for checking vitals but she noticed that I was not well. She gave her time and discussed with me about stress relief and healthcare. I remember her hug and smile. I wish I had a sister like her. She advised me about food to eat for improving breastmilk production and the importance of sleep. She totally explained about the baby's health condition and reassured me the baby was in safe hands. I really thank Michelle for being there for me. I wish I had more space to write about her. She was an Angel.
