Paul Barnette made an impression on one of his patients. The patient nominated Paul for the DAISY Award because of his willingness to go above and beyond and to explain what he was doing at every step. The patient said that Paul took the time to do small things that made a difference during their stay. Not only did Paul take excellent clinical care of this patient, but he was also kind and caring during the patient’s stay. The patient said that Paul is a true example of what an amazing nurse is.
