Cynthia is keen to do whatever is necessary to get our vulnerable young people the compassionate and safe care they need, even if this involves her working nights at short notice or doing extra shifts on her days off.
Cynthia is just such a fantastic member of the team at Sapphire Lodge. She is always calm and optimistic even in the most challenging of circumstances, and she has such an amazing can-do attitude that just keeps the whole team going. Cynthia is keen to do whatever is necessary to get our vulnerable young people the compassionate and safe care they need, even if this involves her working nights at short notice or doing extra shifts on her days off. She has so much specialist mental health knowledge and experience which she imparts to both the young people and the multi-disciplinary team. She supports our RMN students which really encourages them to want to start their career at the Becton Centre. The students really benefit from her creating such an enabling learning environment as well as the fabulous pastoral support she offers students and colleagues alike. I have learned a lot from working with her and she has played a great role in both supporting me professionally as well as helping me to feel part of the team. Cynthia is well-loved and respected by everyone, she is a fantastic role model for mental health nursing, and I can only say it is a huge pleasure to work with her.
