Ng exhibits compassion in all that she does with her patients and families; she is kind with her speech and demeanor but also pushes her patients to achieve their highest potential.
Ng taught me what I needed to know before I came home. She was able to make me laugh. She consistently had optimism but could also be serious when I needed her to listen to my concerns. Mostly, she made me learn things I did not want to learn in a way that continues to be valuable each day for me in my situation. Ng was thorough and never wasted time. She was courteous to me and to others. I appreciate her efficiency and kindness. I recognized the fact that she is happy. Life is not always easy for any of us, but Ng is a person I have been honored to know when I needed her most!
Trust – Ng executes her role with a high level of professionalism and has high moral standards. She is trusted by her patients and co-workers and is able to easily build that trusting bond with her patients and their families.
Compassion – Ng exhibits compassion in all that she does with her patients and families; she is kind with her speech and demeanor but also pushes her patients to achieve their highest potential.

Holistic – Ng truly looks at her patients as a whole, ensuring both their physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing.
Dignity – Ng treats her patients with dignity and respect and will advocate for the same. She is kind, compassionate, and ensures that she provides privacy and respect for her patients.
Evidence-Based Practice - Ng completed her BSN last year where she was engaged in some EBP work. She has not done any specific projects here on the unit but did ask me during her eval how she could go about doing so – she will be joining the PIP committee and possibly CUSP to help develop more in this area. Supports the Mission and Vision of EMMC – Ng certainly supports our mission and vision; she is a great example of what being a nurse at NL EMMC is and should be.
