Elaine puts the needs of her patients ahead of her own.
We had an Urgent Start admission at the Memphis East PD facility who was admitted 1 day prior to the Snow/Ice Storm in Memphis. Elaine came in on a Sunday to provide a treatment in anticipation that the weather would worsen and because the patient was struggling with fluid issues. During the severe weather, she came to the facility every day to perform this patient’s treatments to ensure his fluid issues were resolved and served to meet the needs of patients at several other facilities in the area. Elaine puts the needs of her patients ahead of her own and does whatever she can to ensure the patient receives the necessary care under any circumstance. She serves as a Preceptor and is always willing to assist with any needs in the Region. She truly lives DaVita Core values and Caring Behaviors consistently.
