Marianne singlehandedly covered our triage message boards, along with running her nursing schedule and assisting with our Resident clinic for several months. We had several unique situations present that resulted in two of our triage nurses needing time off. This was during the furloughs and the COVID surge. Marianne was never once defeated. She remained positive and took each day as a new day. Marianne understood the unique and unprecedented times we were all facing. Marianne stepped up to the plate, she ensured there were excellent communication skills with our staff and Providers. Each day Marianne would report out on the daily status and any barriers we may have had. Marianne ultimately gave up two vacations during the months she worked solo. Marianne never once indicated she was upset or disappointed in having to change her vacation plans. Marianne remained focused and dialed in during the critical surge of COVID. Marianne respected her title and knew that she played an integral role in our clinic. Marianne kept the utmost professionalism with our patients and staff during trying times. Marianne never let us down, by having perfect attendance during those months of carrying the clinic.
