When the epidural was delayed for the baby's health, Winthia made me feel I had a friend with me to go through the pains.
Winthia was a calming presence from the moment we walked through the door. She explained possible courses the induction could take in simple terms and kept us updated on what was occurring at each step. Her expert handle on the process and humanizing delivery meant I quickly came to rely on her advice and looked to her for reassurance more than any other member of the care team. She handled complicated procedures for my baby's health quickly while continuing to check in with me and keep us in the loop. When the epidural was delayed for the baby's health, Winthia made me feel I had a friend with me to go through the pains. I will never forget the impact she had on making sure we had a healthy and smooth delivery.
