Nicole has selflessly given of herself and resources going above and beyond what is expected in her role.
It has been a pleasure watching Nicole grow in her career. Nicole has always shown kindness and compassion to our patients and is quick to jump in to help her co-workers. She represents the front-line nursing colleagues by volunteering to serve on committees and teams. In addition to these sacrifices, more recently Nicole has selflessly given of herself and resources going above and beyond what is expected in her role. She's made herself available to help ensure equipment, supplies, and a helping hand is at our disposal.
Also, she is quick to jump in and aid in the care of patients, not only in the ICU unit but also in other units. I didn't even mention her attention to detail. She's always been the go-to person in our unit for policy questions. If she doesn't know the answer, she makes it her business to find the correct one (even at the risk of ruffling a few feathers). Her education projects are always informative and more importantly, relevant to what is going on at the time in our unit. They are appreciated. In closing, I’d like to personally thank Nicole for all she does to make things a little brighter and lighter in the ICU.
