For the past year, this “dynamic duo” has tirelessly supported colleagues across Winchester Hospital. Deb Tarnowski and Shawna Paro, both certified experts in Infection Control, have demonstrated the knowledge and courage to successfully navigate the COVID-19 pandemic. As a team, they educated and supported colleagues across the organization. Their grace under pressure and resilience in the time of unprecedented challenges set an example for leaders as well as front-line staff.
We have been reliant on their expertise and compassion to guide us through these turbulent times. The support and direction provided by this stellar team, to all colleagues, has been immeasurable. In the face of heightened anxieties, coupled with frequently evolving best practices, Shawna and Deb were patient, calm, and extraordinarily resourceful to all Winchester colleagues. Not only do they make for an amazing IP team, but their values and actions also enrich all other teams at Winchester Hospital. We are all grateful for all they have done over the past year.
