Although our encounter was brief, Claire made me feel at ease straight away and taught me so much (explaining things like the difference between what the placenta sounds like and what the baby’s heartbeat sounds like without me even asking her). She answered all my questions in-depth and with such ease as well as going above and beyond to help my pain. I can tell she loves her job and boy is she good at it! I just wish I got a chance to give her a huge ‘thank you’ before I left and to tell her that I wish I could keep her as my midwife for the rest of my pregnancy and for the birth. She has such a kind nature that can’t be taught, and I really hope she knows how good she is. She is truly one in a billion!
