Nurse Ray made our stay very comfortable, making sure we had everything we needed.
In April we came into the ER, my son had broken 3 bones in his face and had a concussion. After my son was examined, we were sent to the ICU overnight. Nurse Ray was our day nurse. My son really liked him.
He said Ray made him feel like nothing was wrong with him. They would talk about video games, and nurse Ray told him a little about himself. It made my son very happy that someone talked to him about something other than medical stuff. As a mom though, I thought Ray was awesome also, always making sure I knew what was going on. Whether it was how my son was, the next steps, or reviewing his medications.
He made our stay very comfortable, making sure we had everything we needed. You could really tell he cared. Even when we were being released he double-checked why we had no pain meds. My son was not having much pain so they said Tylenol was all he needed. Nurse Ray made sure my son's pain was not too much and we were comfortable and ready to go home.
We had no unanswered questions when leaving. Nurse Ray walked us out and made sure we got to our car safely. Nurse Ray made us feel like we were his friends. Thank you!
