I’ve had the pleasure of having Barbara for two classes. She is enthusiastic, helpful, and the most encouraging professor that I have ever experience. I started the program because I wanted to teach nursing students at the college and university level. I started a job at a college of nursing and felt extremely overwhelmed with teaching and I wanted to be a great teacher. The one that students respected and sought out if they needed assistance. I believe that Barbara has been essential in seeing that my goal becomes reality. I have seen myself grow as an instructor over the last year and she was extremely influential in creating those changes. She is very receptive when seeking direction. She is noticeably clear on assignments and steering the student in the right direction. She is an extraordinarily strong advocate for the nurse educator. She is an asset to NKU and is an elite educator.
