Laura is a true delight to have as a Nurse and a wonderful person to be around. I was very depressed when I got to the hospital. I was tired of being in hospital for the same thing over and over and going through a divorce was depressing me. But since I met this nurse, she has been very kind to me. She explained my medical situation to me so that I could understand what was going on with me. And without knowing it, she helped me through a great depression I was going through by being patient with my questions, about my health explaining things to me slowly and repeatedly. I have a learning disorder and she did not even know that either. She did not make me feel stupid no matter how stupid I felt the question I asked her was. She is always smiling and in such a great positive mood that it rubs off. She brings you up. I have complex medical diagnoses and not once did she make me feel like an outcast. She treated me with respect and made me feel like a normal person. She is always on time with my meds and creams, and she changed my bedding and that means a lot! I DIDNT EVEN HAVE TO ASK that IS what shows she genuinely cares about the people she takes care of here. Without even noticing, she gave me the strength to carry on and hope in humanity. She is very smart and knowledgeable. She listens to our problems and makes being in the hospital bearable. SHE TRULY SAVED MY LIFE. THANK YOU. I am very lucky to have her as my nurse she is an asset to this hospital. She is truly THE BEST.
