Robin is the BEST nurse we have come across in our combined 20+ years of nursing. She comes to work every day with a smile, a great attitude, and a caring heart. We truly feel she is the backbone of our unit, a unit that is full of some of the most complex and challenging patients and diagnoses. As a resource nurse, Robin comes into contact with almost every patient. She has a way of coming into a room, making families and patients feel comfortable, and ensuring care is delivered safely and efficiently. Have you ever tried to walk into a room and gain the trust of a family? It is not an easy task, but one that Robin can do because she has an incredible personality and a humble expertise that cannot be matched. For some nurses, the challenge can be coming up with one example of how they are a fantastic nurse, Robin on the other hand provides a unique challenge in that an overwhelming number of examples come to mind. Families often praise her for sharing stories of common interests which allow them to feel a sense of connection as Robin provides care to their child.
