Due to COVID, I couldn’t have my family there for support, which was so lonely. I would talk or cry about it and she listened with compassion.
I spoke to the Nurse Manager a few months back about how wonderful Brooke has been to my father. I wanted to express this again. There are not enough words to describe how grateful we are that Brooke came into our lives to help our dad when he needed it most. He asked her to take a picture with him on the day he decided to start hospice. The smile on his face shows the gratitude and love we all feel for Brooke.

First, I must say that the nurses on Rhoads 7 were wonderful during my recent 12-day hospital stay. There was one nurse who went that extra mile, Brooke Trigiani. She was my nurse several days during my stay and had a caring nature that made me feel better during challenging times. Due to COVID, I couldn’t have my family there for support, which was so lonely. I would talk or cry about it and she listened with compassion. When I talked about losing my hair, she returned with a knit hat for when the day arrived. She even fixed my shower! My shower head was broken and I had to shower one-handed. She went to work with her medical tape and got that shower positioned as any plumber would! She was so patient when she was teaching me how to give myself a needle that I was afraid of! I always felt like she was looking out for me. She was an angel and I’m grateful for her. These are some examples of the things Brooke did, aside from always letting me know what was happening, when, and why.
