Dan exemplifies compassion and sensitivity to all patients and their families. Dan recognizes the uniqueness of each patient and exhibits empathy. Dan played a key role in our implementation of the ED Sensory Room. I have witnessed Dan go above and beyond to be a patient advocate. I always receive family and patient feedback regarding Dan’s compassion and nursing excellence. Dan possesses strong communication skills and always puts his patients first. During the Pandemic, Dan was instrumental in keeping a calm demeanor that helped the patient be at ease and the process of workup move effortlessly and seamlessly. He is an absolute asset to the Emergency Department.
