Andrea has touched the lives of so many from beginning her work.
This past spring, Andrea Mercado was the first-ever DAISY recipient at our institution. Andrea was nominated by her colleagues for the exceptional and extraordinary care she provides to her patients. Upon reading her nominations aloud during the ceremony, Andrea’s emotional reaction touched all of our hearts. She has devoted 18 years to our institution. She has touched the lives of so many from beginning her work as an EMS worker to currently working as a registered nurse in the SICU unit.
