Melanie is our "Battle Buddy" in this war on cancer. She is amazing.
I am a 6-year breast cancer survivor. Melanie has been with me from day one. This shout-out has been a long time coming. In 2014 I chose to have treatment at CTCA. Melanie was my radiation nurse. She is always kind and loving. Day 2 of radiation my savvy cath had to be removed and a new one placed. This was very painful, I was scared. I will never forget Melanie and how she laid over me with a Big Bear hug, tears in her eyes, she knew it was painful, but she held on to me and I made it through it. Melanie has not only been my contact at CTCA, but she is my true friend. Melanie Checks on me and will send an occasional card. In 2019 my husband was diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer. Melanie is now caring for both of us. She has become a part of our family. Melanie is our "Battle Buddy" in this war on cancer. She is amazing. There have been days I felt I could not make it through all this without her. Thank you, Melanie!

Melanie is an awesome nurse! She always attends to my needs and makes my visits painless as possible. I always feel at ease when she accesses m port and giving injections. She makes a point to make sure I am ok and asks how I am doing and asks about my trip. She is a true asset to CTCA.
