Alyssa is such a kind, loving nurse. She saw an opportunity in me as I was reflecting on life and needed to change my ways. Alyssa seized the moment and very kindly and calmly offered chemical dependency treatment. She did not push me, instead, she offered to facilitate the next steps if I needed her. I did not feel like I was reaching out for help. Alyssa reached out to me when she recognized the signs. Without Alyssa, I doubt I would have taken the initiative to get help on my own.
