From the minute she came into the room, Kelsey made me feel at ease by being so skilled with my baby.
I had the unfortunate experience of coming into the ER via ambulance with my 10-month-old son after a seizure. To say it briefly, I was incredibly scared and worried for his life. As a nurse and mom, I felt like I knew too much about what could go wrong to focus on anything else at the moment. From the minute she came into the room, Kelsey made me feel at ease by being so skilled with my baby. Everything from her calm demeanor to her impressive skill set made me feel comfortable knowing he was in the best hands possible. She stayed at his bedside from ER arrival to transfer to the PICU and having her there helped me feel like he was going to be okay. It was all I could really hold on to at that moment to keep my wits.
Thank you for explaining everything to us, your incredible skill with my baby, and for being so fantastic at what you do. I was so thankful for you in that scary moment.
