I experienced what could have been an embarrassing healthcare issue that was time-sensitive. Marcia facilitated a same-day appointment where a procedure could be performed in the general surgery department. She worked collaboratively with Dr. P to get me in. She professionally checked me in, provided supportive talk while I was waiting, and spoke calm words during and after. She was sensitive, compassionate, and caring. Things were explained completely, and I knew what to expect. What I was dreading was prevented. Marcia was exceptional!
