On Sunday night we arrived to be induced. We were greeted by Jeanie. Jeanie took the time to make the intimidating process much simpler by patiently explaining each aspect of the induction. She is extremely knowledgeable and did not hesitate to answer any of our questions. Around the time of shift change our baby’s heart rate decelerated. Jeanie, accompanied by what seemed like a whole floor’s worth of staff, rushed in to help. They were able to stabilize his heart rate. Shortly after Jeanie let us know she was heading home and introduced us to the other Nurse. After a long night we decided, along with the doctor that a C-section was the safest option. In pre-op we noticed Jeanie was back, on her scheduled day off. Jeanie strives to be better, even when she is excellent at her job already! We are so thankful to have had Jeanie’s help and advice throughout labor, delivery, and post-partum.
