J was a patient in your unit a few weeks ago – compliments of a wreck. We just wanted you all to know how we so appreciate the way your tackling our dilemma of getting her discharged in time so we could attend a memorial service in honor of our daughter.  It was close - we arrived 3 minutes before the event began. Special thanks to Cynthia, who got the ball rolling when she found out we might not get discharged in time. We owe each one of you a big “Thank You, and God Bless”. Dr. B was a little concerned about a release, but once we promised to take it slowly, combined with your efforts to encourage the healing process, he seemed more comfortable with the idea. Great teamwork by all of you! The memorial was a tribute to our daughter’s memory and character. She gave a lot of her time to others, including St. Michael’s Friends of the Foundation, and was President last year. We had over 90 attendees on-site at the memorial service and almost as many tuned in on Zoom video in the U.S., England, and the Philippines. It was humbling. J and I will always remember your efforts, thoughts, and prayers on our behalf.
