Laura's innate desire to provide exceptional care shines through in all that she does, and the patients take notice.
This RN case manager is a very much respected and dedicated member of the VNA of Englewood nursing team. The care she provides to her patients is exceptional and done so respectfully. This nurse is frequently requested by patients to manage their cases due to the skilled, compassionate and patient-centered care that she provides. As her manager, I am very frequently in receipt of compliments and feedback related to the care provided by this nurse. Overwhelmingly, patients describe this nurse as “a breath of fresh air” and that “her visits put a smile on my face and make my day”. This nurse tirelessly and consistently meets the needs of her patients and exceeds their expectations. The care provided by this nurse is exceedingly compassionate and she persistently goes above and beyond to promote good health, healing, and patient outcomes. This nurse is indefatigable, frequently seeing many more patients daily than expected in order to give her patients the continuity of care that they want and deserve. Her innate desire to provide exceptional care shines through in all that she does, and the patients take notice. This nurse has one patient in particular that she case manages outside of her service area, as she has developed a very close working relationship with this patient and family. This nurse has been instrumental in the patient’s health and well-being by healing multiple pressure injuries and advocating to the patient’s MDs on the patient’s behalf related to pressing personal and medical concerns. The patient and family describe this nurse as “God sent” and integral in the exceptional care provided.
