Susan saw my mom sleeping on a recliner and brought a convertible sofa which helped my mom sleep better the rest of the nights she was there.
I was admitted due to a shingles infection on my face and spinal cord which caused severe headaches. Being transferred to the floor from the ER, although I was sedated I remember clearly how Susan was being friendly. She helped eased my nerves as this was my first time being admitted to the hospital. I only spent one hour with her on my first day but she even helped me choose dinner and place the order. I noticed that LRH staff are very nice and friendly compared to other hospitals. However, Susan went the extra mile to make our stay even more comfortable. She saw my mom sleeping on a recliner and brought a convertible sofa which helped my mom sleep better the rest of the nights she was there. I'm very thankful for Susan’s thoughtfulness! My mom is the type of person who wouldn’t complain about the recliner but later said the bed was so much better that she was able to sleep. Susan is such a caring and sweet nurse!!! Susan is such a caring nurse that she came by to say hi to my daughter and me when she was on a different floor. When my daughter was having an IV infiltration while her nurse was on lunch break, Susan showed up like a superhero and stopped the IV.
