My experience in special care was exemplary thanks to Kim.
I was a high-risk patient with preeclampsia and severe features carrying twins. I came to MFM for a regular appointment and ended up being admitted and delivering the same day. Kim went above and beyond to make sure I was okay and that I was not alone. I was well taken care of. Not only did she take care of my physical needs due to my C-section, but she also made sure mentally I was okay. This is the best care I have ever received in any military facility. Kim kept reassuring me. She made sure I was always clean from all the bleeding, she was so gentle and patient with me the whole time. She even helped me to get my little milk supply started.
Everything was on a schedule and timely. She monitored me every hour, was on top of all my pain medication. It really is hard to put what an awesome person she was in writing. My experience in special care was exemplary thanks to Kim. The whole time I felt like I was at an all-inclusive 5-star hotel. Her service is amazing. I came in as a clueless new mom and have learned so much from her. What stands out the most was when she brought me to the NICU to meet my babies the day after delivery. I was scared and did not want to hold them. After being there with her for over 1 hour I ended up holding my babies. I don’t know how she does it, but she just makes you lose all your fears. Nurse Kim is extraordinary!
