Georgette never hesitates to take on multiple roles to keep the unit flowing all while encouraging enthusiasm from the nurses that were working with her.
Georgette is a team player all-around. She went above and beyond throughout the entire pandemic and would always lend a helping hand. One night in specific, Georgette was the charge nurse and was able to help me take care of my full section of patients throughout the night while I cared for 3-4 trauma alerts that came in that night. Some of them were transfers and Georgette wore multiple hats and set up all the transfer paperwork, took care of the multiple holds in the ED, and was the charge nurse. She never hesitates to take on multiple roles to keep the unit flowing all while encouraging enthusiasm from the nurses that were working with her. She has been described as “the glue that holds the ED together” on multiple occasions.
