Brandy listened to me, wiped my tears, and explained things patiently until I understood them.
I met Brandy the day I had lung/chest surgery. It was a very rough surgery. I was in a lot of pain. I had to have a rib broken, so the doctor could reach everything. I also had a chest tubes put in place and had to have my chest cavity cleaned out. It was very invasive and painful. I was scared and in a lot of pain. Brandy was my nurse that first night and made me feel like I was her only patient in the world. She listened to me, wiped my tears, and explained things patiently until I understood them. She also explained everything she was doing and would take the time to stop and talk to me if I didn’t understand something. It totally changed my night and made me feel so special. I would always tell Brandy thank you, but she went above and beyond what most nurses would do. It was a very scary day/night for me, and I will always be thankful for her. Thank you for allowing me to “Thank her” properly.
