John was an amazing nurse who went out of his way to make sure my child felt secure, relaxed, and helped ease anxiety.
My child is autistic and has a very hard time with surgery. John was amazing with my child. We were at UPH Bettendorf for a return surgery. John was our nurse the first time and made my child feel so comfortable and safe, that we asked for John when we needed to return. Thankfully, John was working that day. He was an amazing nurse who went out of his way to make sure my child felt secure, relaxed, and helped ease anxiety. John made sure my child knew the plan and what to expect next. He took the time to listen to our concerns and ritual needs. This meant so much to both of us. I am so thankful for John’s compassion and empathy. Trinity is so lucky to have him!
