Ciara always took an extra minute to make sure his wife was comfortable and see if there was anything she could do for her.
I was called to the room today for a Same Day Surgery patient. The husband of the patient told me that he was absolutely blown away today by how caring and attentive Ciara was for his wife. She had been receiving this therapy in Dallas for a while. He said he has always been very protective of her and today felt like he could really relax and let the nurses take care of his wife. He said Ciara always took an extra minute to make sure his wife was comfortable and see if there was anything she could do for her, down to the small details of using an alcohol pad to remove the tape because it huts less when you do that. He wanted to make sure Ciara was recognized for making them feel so at ease and cared for. He said they will be coming back, and he knows that when they do, they will get great care. I absolutely agree with them! Ciara has such a king and gentle nature and has always been such a great patient advocate. JCMH is better for having her! I am blessed beyond measure to have her on the Same Day Surgery team!
