Nikki helped me understand and provided great communication.
I am very grateful to have had a nurse like Nikki while coming in for a 12-hour surgery. Regardless of how busy she was, she always gave me 100% of her attention and explained the answers to my questions to the point of complete understanding. With having this major surgery, it comes along with major insecurities and anxiousness with many people that surround you within a couple of days and all the information that is flooded all around you that you need to take in. Nikki helped me understand and provided great communication. I am so very grateful and thankful for Nikki at my bedside answering all the anxious questions to the best of her ability and if she didn’t know an answer she would research and retrieve the information for me. She also taught me how to file things without forgetting or losing the things others had given me.
With the deepest gratitude, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I am going home comfortable about what to do next. I was treated like a family member. The integrity Nikki showed me in getting me physically ready for discharge when I was feeling extremely fragile was great. Also helping with getting me all of what, when, why, and where of information I received was so helpful.
