They say, “laughter is the best medicine.” Jaqueline brought that and so much more! As a nurse, her skills are exemplary.
I was hospitalized last month and ended up having foot surgery. I remained in the hospital for nine days. My care there was excellent. I was discharged home for six weeks. From day one, the nurse was so helpful and kind; teaching me to administer my therapy myself. Even though I have forty-plus years in the medical field, I had little knowledge of this therapy. She was so patient and knowledgeable; it only took me a day to master it. Subsequently, she came every Monday and Thursday, to draw my labs and to check my vitals. Over the next six weeks, we came to know each other quite well. Her lovely accent was only part of her charm. She has such a bright, beautiful spirit as well. They say, “laughter is the best medicine.” She brought that and so much more! As a nurse, her skills are exemplary. Her “bedside manner,” so to speak, is unsurpassed. She made my road to recovery such a pleasant and stress-free journey. It was with mixed emotions, that I came to be discharged, after those six weeks. Happy that I had finished my therapy but sad I wouldn’t be seeing her each week. I also had experienced great care from my PT and my OT. This nurse though stood out from all the rest! I couldn’t sing her praises any higher. She is one in a million. She’s so happy with her job and it shows. BayCare home health is so very fortunate to have her, and I am blessed to have known her.
