I was not coping well at all. But with Mira's calm and profound knowledge, I was able to build my confidence in taking care of my healthcare needs.
This nurse is the most compassionate and knowledgeable nurse I have ever known. She took into account my whole situation, from the unplanned surgery and most of all the recent loss of my spouse. Needless to say, I was totally overwhelmed emotionally and physically! She didn’t treat me as just another patient, she treated me as an individual with multiple needs. I was not coping well at all. But with her calm and profound knowledge, I was able to build my confidence in taking care of my healthcare needs. She was instrumental in finding the right system as I also have vision problems. She helped immensely in finding and assisting me in finding a supply provider and assisted me in the right supplies post-discharge. I felt so alone and overwhelmed, but she gave me hope and confidence to move forward. She is truly an “Angel of Mercy”. Also, every visit she checked me from head to toe. I feel truly blessed to have her as my nurse.
