Becky was so sweet and encouraging. My husband and I felt we could fully trust her and the doctor to do what was best.
We have been here for 6 days. We had Becky a day before I started contractions. She was so sweet to me and very personable with us. I had an epidural that wasn’t done properly, giving me a ton of pain. She walked into my room right at her shift change and helped me immediately. She contacted the anesthesiologist to help correct it. She was amazing to just jump right in and take charge to help me. I remember being in so much pain and hearing her voice and knowing I would be delivering with her was such a relief! Becky is superwoman!!! I was complicated and had weird back/neck pain that was relieved by the bed being raised. So for the entire 4.5 something hours of pushing, she lowered and rose my bed in between every push. Not only that, she came up with a genius way to help relieve the neck pain by pulling with a towel with each contraction. She pulled just as hard as I pushed for 4.5 something hours – on top of holding my foot. She went above and beyond to make me comfortable and she put me over herself. I am sure her arm must have been sore afterward!! She was so sweet and encouraging. My husband and I felt we could fully trust her and the doctor to do what was best. Having Becky there for me truly meant more than I thought because when she said bye to us I cried. Becky is an incredible nurse and any new momma is lucky to have her as part of their delivery team!
