Emily takes that extra little bit of time to make sure you're comfortable and at ease.
I was admitted to the ICU and stayed for 7 days; during that time I was cared for by several nurses, all of whom were wonderful and caring, but one stood out from the rest. Emily eased my fears and gave me the hope and strength to fight and not give up. She goes above and beyond in her approach to caring for patients; she takes that extra little bit of time to make sure you're comfortable and at ease. She brings that “old school” bedside manner when she walks into the room. I hope she knows just how appreciated she is. Thank you, Emily, for being there for me.
