I was extremely impressed with Kat's work ethic, compassion, skill, and professionalism.
Katherine Barbarossa was outstanding, a true nurse and caregiver. The work she did with my mother-in-law was truly special. My wife and her sisters are very thankful for her and how she cared for their mom. I cannot express enough how highly they thought of her and the attention and compassion she provided. I only met her once but could immediately tell she was a special nurse. Please pass on our thanks, appreciation, and best wishes to Kat. We really feel your whole floor did an outstanding job, but Kat stood out to our family.

My mom fell and sustained a spinal femur fracture and had surgery. While on the 6th floor she was assigned to a wonderful nurse named Kat. I have been a nurse for 42 years and I was extremely impressed with her work ethic, compassion, skill, and professionalism. Another word to describe her was awesome. She exhibited sincere care for my mom and all of us who visited. She truly represents the nursing profession well and AGH should be grateful that she is part of their healthcare team. I extend a gracious thank you to the teams at AGH and especially to Kat who touched the hearts of my mom and her family for such great care.
