She went to see if she could move it but somehow she got it fixed and working for me. I was so relieved!
- A son of a Veteran wrote: “Kaleigh has gone above and beyond the call of duty. She was so kind and caring to my father. She took time to make him feel special when he was so critically ill. She is very professional but she has that special blend of professionalism and tender loving care that makes her very special! She stands out in her field. She also took the time to answer any question we as a family had. The medical field needs more Kaleigh’s in it. She makes the world a better place! My dad talked about how special and kind this extraordinary lady is! In his words “She is the Best”!”
- A wife of a Veteran wrote: “Kaleigh was always so positive and made me feel hopeful about my husband’s healing. She told me about my husband’s day and what the nurses had done for him on the previous shift. One day I was very upset because I thought the on and off switch on my power wheelchair was broken. I didn’t know how I was going to be able to walk all the way to the ER parking lot because I was so tired. She grabbed a regular wheelchair and said, “I will take you”. Then I told her I had left my power chair out in the hall near the restroom. She went to see if she could move it but somehow she got it fixed and working for me. I was so relieved! I was thinking about how I could come to visit my husband if I did not have my power chair to use and conserve my energy. She not only took great care of my husband but of me too.”
