Colleen talked to each of us individually and together at different times the first night mom was home and gave us all such comfort.
Colleen was my mom's hospice nurse and came home with her from the hospital and stayed with us to help with the initial medications and to take her off of the dopamine. There are just no words to express how much we appreciated her kindness. She answered all of our tough questions. It was like she wasn't there but yet she was there every time we needed something or had a question. She was so gentle with my mom with every touch. As difficult as this situation was she made it bearable. My family calls her our angel!! My Aunt was late coming in on her train and we wanted her there before she was taken off of the dopamine and she waited till we got there as we were afraid she would pass right away and Colleen waited which was such a blessing. She told us to call her no matter what if we needed anything. My mom passed away just two days after she came home and we are still talking about the care that Colleen gave not only my mom but our entire family. She talked to each of us individually and together at different times the first night mom was home and gave us all such comfort. Colleen you are the best of the best!!!! We are eternally thankful.
