Madison still took the time out of her shift, to come and say hi and to check on me. Madison's bedside manner is remarkable, if it wasn't for her and her kindness, I don't know how I would've coped with what I was going through.
I was admitted to the Cardiac ICU last June and Madison was my nurse. I was nervous and totally terrified and shocked at what was happening to me. Madison was so kind, she was calming and patient. She took her time to explain everything that was going on. If I got anxious or sad, Madison would hold my hand and talk to me, she wiped my tears and made me laugh even when I didn't feel like laughing. Not only was she kind to me, but she was kind to my family as well. I was in the ICU for five days and Madison was my nurse four out of the five days and that made what I was going through bearable. The one day that she wasn't my nurse, Madison still took the time out of her shift, to come and say hi and to check on me. Madison's bedside manner is remarkable, if it wasn't for her and her kindness, I don't know how I would've coped with what I was going through. I was blessed to have Madison as my nurse, I looked forward to seeing her smile every morning.
