Juan reminds the team of what it is to have a dream, pursue it tirelessly, and excel as a nurse.
A Heart Cardiac Catheterization procedure was performed on my wife, S. Hearing directly from the attending physician eased our grimmest concerns and worries. The medical care received before and after the catheterizing procedure went above and beyond to help keep S calm, comfortable, safe, and informed. A special thank you with big hugs to L and Juan, for their compassion, attention to detail, and professional help. Their cheerful smiles and kindness are priceless. Please recognize these individuals, they are exceptional employees. And to all your staff members contributing to this outstanding treatment - thank you! You are making the world a brighter place for those who suffer from medical challenges.

Juan was a paramedic for many years, but always knew he wanted to work in the Cath Lab. He interviewed for a tech position in our holding area while he worked through his nursing school classes – always maintaining a positive attitude, driven to reach his dreams. He succeeded in graduating and then passing his nursing boards. Throughout his time in school, working in the holding area, and raising a family, I have received numerous recognitions from his team, his patients, and their families. They all follow the same theme; his ability to comfort patients during a very stressful time, his calmness and patience, his willingness to educate and explain to the patients what they should expect and why, and his drive to be a patient advocate. Juan reminds the team of what it is to have a dream, pursue it tirelessly, and excel as a nurse. As Juan now steps into his role training in the cath lab I expect to continue him to receive the same accolades from his patients. He epitomizes the essence of nursing.
